1. Purchase Guidelines
Vinyl records, unlike CDs, are manufactured using a specialized process involving heat and pressure,
which makes it difficult to achieve perfect conditions during production.
Due to these limitations, certain cases may not be eligible for return.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Cases not eligible for return
— Minor dents or damage to the jacket corners at a tolerable level.
— Minor cosmetic defects on the record's edges, label, or other parts that do not affect the listening experience.
— Dust that can be cleaned and minor scratches that do not affect playback due to the manufacturing process.
— Slight warping that does not affect playback.
Note that entry-level turntables may have difficulties with normal playback, but this is not a defect of the record itself.
— Minor foreign substances, residues, or slight variations in the center hole of the record due to the manufacturing process.
If the record does not fit smoothly on the turntable spindle, it can be easily enlarged using scissors or a knife.
Caution for Colored Vinyl Records
— Colored vinyl records may have more surface noise compared to black vinyl.
Please note that this is a limitation of the manufacturing process for colored vinyl,
and returns may not be accepted based on this reason.
— Individual records may have slight color variations due to the manufacturing process.
— Dark spots or stains that appear on the surface due to the manufacturing process are common occurrences and are not considered defects.
2. Usage Guidelines
When there are issues with the use of vinyl records, please consider the following before making inquiries.
Sound distortion/Speed variation - Check the rotation speed
If the rotation speed is not correct, sound distortion or speed variation may occur.
Please ensure that each vinyl is played at the appropriate rotation speed.
Sound skipping, Record sticking - Adjust the tracking force
Each record has different pressing values, and each turntable may have an optimal tracking force setting.
Therefore, we recommend setting up your turntable according to the specifications of the record for better listening experience.
Portable turntables, all-in-one systems, and entry-level devices often lack tracking force adjustment capabilities
and can be influenced by factors such as the levelness of the turntable.
If you encounter playback issues, we suggest trying the record in a different environment
(e.g., at a professional store or with a properly set-up turntable) to determine if the problem persists.
Storage Method
Store the records upright and away from direct sunlight or warm surfaces to avoid heat exposure.
Please note that even normal products can undergo deformation depending on the storage method after being shipped.
Therefore, please take this into consideration while storing the records.
3. Return Instructions
Due to the nature and limitations of the vinyl manufacturing process, we may not accept refunds for visible defects that do not affect listening.
If you believe your order is eligible for return, please leave a inquiry with your order number on the Q&A board or contact us at factory@drdr.ac.
Once the collection and inspection have been completed without detecting any issues, the product will be returned to you. However, please note that the round-trip courier expenses incurred during this process will be the customer’s responsibility.
